Nachos

Bag of corn chips
Any cheese sauce (I use Tostito's Salsa con Queso Med.)

Place corn chips on cookie sheet, drizzle cheese sauce over.  Heat in oven for about 10-15 minuts at about 300 degrees.
You can add more pizazz to this by adding chopped olives and tomatoes, and even jallapenos.  Yum!

 

Pretzel Dip

1 8oz pkg of cream cheese
1/2 C chopped Spanish grn olives
1/4 C finely chopped onions
1-2 T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients.  Let the flavors blend before serving with pretzels or other favorite.

 

Hummus Dip

1 can chick peas, drained
2 T lemon or lime juice
1 T olive oil
1/2 tsp cummin
1/2 tsp salt (more if you'd like)
1 T sesame seeds OR tahini (creamed sesame seeds, can find it at most grocery stores)

Combine all ingredients in a food processor.  Process until creamy.  Sesame seeds are optional.  I used sesame seeds before and they don't completely "cream up" while blending, but it gives the dip a crunchy texture and still yummy.  Add more lemon and oil as needed. 
Serve with baby carrots, green olives, celery sticks, cucumber slices, and pita chips. 
SO GOOD! (And healthy!)

 

Apple Dip

1 pkg cream cheese (lowfat works great)
Add ins:  cranberry sauce, honey, apple pie spice, pineapple tidbits, maple syrup, etc.

Divide the cream cheese into 2 equal parts.  This way you have 2 different dips.   Now the fun part:  cream together the cream cheese and any of the add-ins.  I have done honey and apple pie spice, and maple syrup.  Be creative and see what kind of dip you can come up with.  Kids will eat up the apples with these dips!
