Coming Home
1 Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,
       ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

 2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
       worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

Psalm 29:1-2

The last full day before their return, the team got to be part of "Dia de la Biblia" (Day of the Bible) in Andahuaylas.  The evangelical christians had a parade down main street and then gathered in the main square to celebrate.

They also gathered for lunch.  Kind of like the "Feeding of the 5000" but in modern day Latin America.  Wow!!

Tents of various kinds of merchandise were set up along the roads.  (Not sure if it was part of the Day of the Bible or just a normal Food/Flea Market)  Here a lady buys a chicken, and I can guarantee it will not be a pet.

Here, another lady sells real honey (see the honey combs on the flats?)

Looks like their "fields were ripe unto harvest".
You know, our soul has the potential of the same thing with God...

One last meeting.  Impact International met with Mike and Tammy to tie up some lose ends before heading on home.  The meeting was held at the airport for 5 hours!  (Talk about a layover!)  The number one word missionaries and those involved learn really quick:

Flexible!

One happy camper to be going home!

 22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.'

 23"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
