Ginger Mint Tea

  -Fresh ginger (found at most supermarkets)
  -Fresh mint (found at most supermarkets)
  -Natural sugar

You simply MUST try this.  Cut about an inch (less is fine) of outer skin off the ginger.  Slice into quarter-size pieces (money size) and place in the bottom of your mug.  Add a few sprigs of fresh mint and pour hot water over all.  Allow the flavors to blend.  Stir in some natural sugar (I use Florida Crystals).  Natural sugar (my opinion) is better for you since it is less processed.

Store the ginger (in a plastic bag) and mint in the fridge until next time.

 

 Crock Pot Cider

-96 fl oz  apple juice
-2-3 small sticks of cinnamon
-2 Tb cloves
-1 whole nutmeg or 1 tsp grounded nutmeg

Add all ingredients to your crock pot and leave on low all day.  This also makes the house smell good!
You can add some sugar to sweeten it up some if you'd like.

 

Holiday Punch

- 1 Cranberry Lime soda (Sierra Mist)
- 1 can Pineapple juice
- 2 C orange sherbert
Combine soda and juice, then add the sherbert.  Enjoy!
(Double for more)
If you want to be creative, freeze a ring of the soda and juice, then add to the punch.  You can add strawberries and mint leaves to the ring before freezing for a festive look.

 

Herbal Zinger Iced Tea

4 Lemon Zinger tea bags
4 Red Zinger tea bags
4 C apple juice
4 C boiling water

Steep the bags in the hot water for about 10 minutes.  Discard the tea bags.  Combine the tea with the apple juice and refrigerate until cold.  Serve over ice.
